Description
Montana Adds Golf to Its Unforgettable Adventures.
Kayaking, skiing, fly-fishing, riding horses, and sightseeing at Glacier have helped make Montana one of the nation’s outstanding destinations for outdoor lovers. But for several years, the Big Sky Country has been adding one ranch-style private golf community after another. Architects Tom Weiskopf and Tom Fazio have dominated the scene in creating great courses with rolling fairways and heart-stopping views.

Live where you play at Montana’s country clubs and golf communities
Many private golf club communities here have a rustic feel with lodge-style, log-built homes and clubhouses. Black Bull, built on the historic Leachman Angus Ranch, is near the university town of Bozeman. In the Bitterroot Valley near historic Hamilton, you’ll find Stock Farm with honors from magazines like Travel & Leisure, Golf Connoisseur and more.
Iron Horse in Whitefish, overlooking the Flathead Valley, is close to Glacier National Park, and like many of these gated communities offers skiing nearby in winter. Between Bozeman and Yellowstone, you’ll find the Club at Spanish Peaks that even has private ski lifts along with golf with 40-mile views.
